HABCC Selects Jennifer Scott as New Executive Director

The board of directors of the Hanover Association of Businesses and Chamber of Commerce named Jennifer Y. Scott, APR, as its new Executive Director. She was one of several candidates interviewed by a search committee composed of past presidents of the organization. As President of Touch Points Public Relations, a Hanover County-based communications company specializing in public relations and change management, Scott brings the unique perspective of a small business owner as well as her expertise in public relations and communications to the new position. She will continue to lead Touch Points in addition to the HABCC responsibilities.

The HABCC is a nonprofit organization whose mission is to provide leadership within the Hanover and Ashland business communities, to champion economic development while safeguarding business interests and property rights, to promote professional standards and ethics within the business community and to maintain positive relationships among businesses, educators, governments and residents.
